building and maintaining highly effective leadership teams.

Operations Team
John Murphy,
Senior Vice President of Operations
As SVP of Operations, Mr. Murphy leads a team of corporate
individuals responsible for driving outstanding operating
results for the company's hotel portfolio as well as the
integration of acquired and developed assets. The operations
group encompasses the corporate resources of; sales, revenue
management and corporate food and beverage, creating a highly
synergistic and collaborative team approach which is passionately
sales driven and incredibly profitability focused. Results are
realized through the corporate team's property support approach
and the use of several proprietary tools and systems developed
by Tarsadia. Mr. Murphy joined the company in 1999. Prior to joining
Tarsadia Hotels, he worked for Starwood Hotels and Resorts and Richfield
Hospitality Services in a variety of operational roles.
Sanjay Patel,
Vice President of Operations
Mr. Patel joined Tarsadia in 1990 as a General Manager
and was quickly promoted to a position in operations
overseeing hotels in the Orange County and Los Angeles
area. Currently he provides support to General Managers
and property teams in San Diego and Anaheim.
Sanjay was born in Zambia, Africa and relocated to California
in 1983. He earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration
from California State Fullerton.
