Tarsadia's Revenue Management Department strives to
build and maintain a proactive, passionate and productive
sales culture. Our holistic approach begins with the
broad strategies outlined in our Annual Operating Plans
to our monthly forecasts, weekly/daily revenue strategy
meetings, to the performance of our front office agents
on an hourly basis.
We analyze market demand, historical
trends and competitive pricing to predict and maximize
revenue potential and measure success by growing market
share year-over-year and exceeding RevPar goals.
We are well versed in the key processes for all major brands
and optimize usage to maximize profit. Our processes
and philosophy are both consistent and flexible to meet
the needs of this dynamic aspect of our business.

Mr. Roby leads the revenue management department’s efforts in
driving top-line revenue and increasing market share for
Tarsadia Hotels’ portfolio. Using a collaborative approach,
the team leverages proprietary technology to provide
world-class analysis, utilizes brand systems and resources
to maximize franchise contribution, and maximizes in-depth
market knowledge to generate proactive strategies.
Prior to joining Tarsadia Hotels in 2005, Mr. Roby held
revenue management positions with Hilton Hotels in San Diego
and La Costa Resort & Spa. He earned his bachelor’s degree
in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.
