Kunal Gupta is a Vice President at Tarsadia Investments in the firm’s life sciences strategy based in the firm’s New York office.  He is primarily responsible for deal prospecting, diligence and underwriting, and operational support for the firm’s portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Tarsadia, Kunal was an investment associate at Varsity Healthcare Partners, a healthcare-focused private equity firm, where he evaluated investment opportunities in multi-site provider platforms and outsourced services and technology providers to the healthcare sector.  Prior to Varsity Healthcare Partners, Kunal began his career at Livingstone Partners, a middle market investment banking firm, where he advised clients on sell-side and capital raising transactions across the healthcare and other industries.

Kunal received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
